This international event is an excellent opportunity to draw industry practioners and academics from a variety of fields (e.g. tourism, sport, economics, marketing, sociology, public relations, hospitality, business, management, history advertising, psychology, performing arts etc) who have an interest in the practice and research of events.

This is to assist some international attendees, who find it impossible to attend the congress in Brisbane in September, 2006. Papers will be double blind reviewed and displayed as a hardcopy during the conference in a poster display format. The author, title and abstract of the paper will be printed on a poster board and a hardcopy of the paper will be available for perusal during the congress.
